Terms and conditions

1. The promotion period is from 1 July 2021 to 31 December 2023, both dates being inclusive (“Promotion Period”).
2. The Offer is only applicable to individual cardholders with valid Mastercard issued in Hong Kong and commercial cardholders with valid Mastercard issued in Hong Kong (“Eligible Mastercard”). A cardholder holding an Eligible Mastercard shall be referred to as the "Cardholder" below. An “Eligible Transaction” occurs when a Cardholder makes a transaction through KeyChain Pay and uses the Eligible Mastercard to pay all relevant fares and fees associated with that transaction during the Promotion Period.
3. Individual Cardholders with Eligible Mastercard can enjoy 2.1% transaction fee for paying housing and car park rents, and 2.6% for commercial rents.
4. Commercial Cardholders with Eligible Mastercard can enjoy 2.6% transaction fee for paying housing, car park, and commercial rents.
5. The Offer is applicable to legitimate tenancy agreements originated and issued in Hong Kong only. Cardholders must pay rent (including deposit or disbursement if applicable) in KeyChain Pay mobile APP or Web Portal and settle the payment with an Eligible Mastercard in Hong Kong dollars. The Offer is not applicable to pay rent other than KeyChain Pay, for example, channels include cash, cheque, or transfer. Failure to make payment with the Eligible Card will result in revoking transaction fee up to 0.8% by charging the original fee rate at 2.9%.
6. Unless otherwise specified, the Offer cannot be used in conjunction with any other offers available during the Promotion Period.
7. If Cardholder requests refund or partial refund, that relevant transaction will not be eligible for the Offer.
8. In case of any fraud or abuse, KeyChain Pay and Mastercard Asia/Pacific (Hong Kong) Limited reserve the right at any time of the forfeiture of a Cardholder's eligibility for the Offer as well as cancellation of the Cardholder's Smart Contract(s). KeyChain Pay and Mastercard Asia/Pacific (Hong Kong) Limited further reserve the right to deduct any relevant value of the Offer redeemed inappropriately directly from any of the Mastercards in Cardholder’s name without prior notice and/or take legal action in such instances to recover any outstanding amounts.
9. Cardholders must remain Eligible Mastercard valid and in good standing during the Promotion Period and at the time when the Offer is rewarded, at the sole discretion of the card issuer. Otherwise, the Offer will be cancelled or forfeited without prior notice to Cardholders.

11. The Offer is subject to the terms and conditions mentioned herein. Mastercard Asia/Pacific (Hong Kong) Limited and KeyChain Pay reserve the right to amend these terms and conditions and to terminate the Offer at any time without prior notice to Cardholder. Mastercard Asia/Pacific (Hong Kong) Limited and KeyChain Pay accept no liability for any such change or termination of the Offer or the Offer related Terms and Conditions.
12. The Offer cannot be exchanged for cash/service, other products, or discounts, and is not transferable.
13. In the event of disputes arising out of the promotion, the decision by KeyChain Pay and Mastercard Asia/Pacific (Hong Kong) shall be final and conclusive.
14. These terms and conditions are governed by and will be construed in accordance with the laws of the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region.
15. In the event of any discrepancy or inconsistency between the English and Chinese versions of these terms and conditions, the English version shall prevail apply and prevail.
16. Mastercard does not assume any responsibility for the products and services offered under this Promotion Partnership. The products are sold, and services are provided solely by KeyChain Pay, under such terms and conditions as determined by KeyChain Pay, and Mastercard accepts no liability whatsoever in connection with such products and services. The products and services have not been certified by Mastercard and under no circumstances shall the inclusion of any product or service in this Promotion Partnership be construed as an endorsement or recommendation of such product or service by Mastercard. Any questions or issues Cardholders may have with respect to the Promotion Partnership, or the products and services must be addressed directly to KeyChain Pay.
