The promotional period is from 16 April 2018 to 31 December 2024, both dates inclusive (the “Promotional Period”).

This promotion applies to customers ("Cardholder") holding any Hong Kong Dollar personal primary, combined additional and separate additional credit cards issued by The Hongkong and Shanghai Banking Corporation Limited in Hong Kong (and its successors and assigns) (the "Bank"), except HSBC Red Credit Card, HSBC EveryMile Credit Card, standalone Private Label cards, UnionPay Dual Currency Credit Card, USD card, business cards, corporate cards, purchasing cards, Apple Pay or Google / Android Pay ("Eligible Card"). Eligible Card must be used for all relevant payments during the Promotional Period in order for Cardholders to receive the Offers (as defined in Clause 3 below) under this promotion.

This promotion is applicable to legitimate tenancy agreement originated and issued in Hong Kong only. Cardholders must pay the rent (including deposit or disbursement if applicable) at KeyChain Pay mobile app and settle the payment with an Eligible Card in Hong Kong dollars. Individual landlord or tenant (Cardholder) will enjoy 2.1% special transaction fee offer. The Offers are not applicable to pay rent other than KeyChain Pay with other channels like cash, cheque or transfer. Failure of Eligible Card payment will result of revoking transaction fee discount up to 0.8% by charging original fee at 2.9%.

To enjoy 6X RewardCash rebate, Cardholders must register Eligible Card with HSBC and allocate extra 5X RewardCash to “Home” Category. It takes 3 working days after successful registration before Cardholders are eligible for the Offers by paying rent with KeyChain Pay (Not applicable to Red Card and EveryMile Credit Card).

Each Cardholder is only entitled to receive the extra RewardCash for the first HKD100,000 of rent payment during the Promotional Period. Moreover, an extra $1,000 RewardCash rebate will be awarded upon accumulating HK$150,000 of eligible transactions from “Rewards of Your Choice Bonus Boost”. Cardholders should check if the quota has been used up at HSBC (Not applicable to Red Card and EveryMile Credit Card).

Once the recurring payment is authorized with Eligible Card to enjoy the Offers, Cardholder(tenant) is not allowed to change or remove the Eligible Card during the period of Smart Contract.

Cardholders are required to provide their own valid Eligible Card upon registration in KeyChain Pay mobile app in order to be eligible for the Offers.

The Offers cannot be used in conjunction with any other offers available during the Promotional Period.

If the Cardholder requests refund or partial refund, that relevant transaction will not be eligible for the promotion.

The RewardCash rebate and transaction fee discount cannot be converted to cash, other products, promotional offers, discounts or be withdrawn as a cash advance and is not transferable. RewardCash can be used to settle any previous outstanding balance, please refer to HSBC Reward+ Programme.

Where the spending rebate under this promotion has been credited to a credit card account and there is a subsequent reversal of any transaction(s) in respect of which the spending rebate was awarded, the Cardholder is liable for the whole amount of the relevant spending rebate and the Bank will deduct such amount of spending rebate directly from the credit card account without prior notice to the Cardholder.

In case of any dispute, fraud or abuse, the Bank and/or KeyChain Pay reserves the right at any time of the forfeiture of a Cardholder's eligibility for the Offers as well as cancellation of the Cardholder's Smart Contract(s). KeyChain Pay further reserves the right to deduct any relevant amount under the Offers directly from the relevant credit card account without prior notice.
